Common Questions

Compliance FAQ

Yes. EFL actively facilitates buyer-nominated inspections from agencies including SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek, QIMA and others. We provide full factory access, documentation, and management support during all inspections.

All chemical inputs pass through the ZDHC Chemical Gateway before use. Our dyehouse maintains a full chemical inventory and conducts regular wastewater testing against ZDHC MRSL limits. Test reports are available to buyers on request.

Yes. Copies of all current certificates — GOTS, OEKO-TEX, BSCI, SMETA, ZDHC, RCS and OCS — are available on request. Our SMETA and BSCI audit results are also accessible to registered buyers through the Sedex and amfori portals respectively.

Absolutely. We regularly review and sign buyer-specific codes of conduct and can complete detailed questionnaires on our labour, environmental and social practices. Our compliance team is experienced in supporting brand due diligence processes.

Every audit — whether internal or external — results in a corrective action plan (CAP) with assigned owners and deadlines. Progress is reviewed monthly by senior management. We share CAP updates proactively with buyers rather than waiting for the next audit cycle.
